Thank you for taking the time to look at our web site. We are an inclusive group of devotees to the Jowett marque. Most of us own at least one example of this thoroughly "Yorkshire" car. Once bitten by the bug it can be difficult to restrict oneself, so please be cautious.
May we take the opportunity of encouraging you to contact us if you know of the whereabouts of any cars or parts. If you want to involve yourself in a restoration we can probably match you to a vehicle, from the "box of bits" right through to a concours ready car. An e-mail through our links page could be the first step to restoring and owning just a little bit of Jowett history.

Out and about in Derbyshire
The season this year officially starts with "Drive It Day" on Sunday 26th of April. All Classic car owners are encouraged to use their cars instead of modern vehicles that day.

We hope you will at the very least "See them as they pass you on the road" or better still come and find out what all the fuss is about. |

The North West section of the Jowett Car Club covers a large area including Lancashire, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire and North Wales.
Formed in 1923, the Jowett Car Club claims to be the oldest one-make car club in the world. The aim of the club is to celebrate and promote Jowett cars made in Bradford from 1906 to 1954.
It is an international club and offers a monthly magazine, library, parts, spares, help, technical advice, events, motor sport and rallying. It has a well stocked spares department, spares are available to club members only.
Regional sections of the club in the UK organise social events, the sections are: North West, Northern, Scottish, North East, East Anglia, Southern, South West, Severnside and Midlands.
Each year at the Spring Bank Holiday in May is the club's National Rally, which brings hundreds of members and their cars together. The rally is run by a different section of the club, and so held in a different part of the country, each year.
For example in 2007 the rally was organised by the North West section and was based in Daresbury, Cheshire, in 2008 the rally was run
by the Scottish section at Crieff, Perthshire, and in 2009 the rally will be at Bideford, Devon, run by the South West section.
